The Elgin Ministerial Alliance is a body of Christ-Centered Churches dedicated to serving Elgin both spiritually and physically. If you are experiencing financial hard times, we may be able can help. Below is information about our hours and the areas where we can be of assistance. Please come to the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 701 South Main Street, Elgin Texas 78621. Help with Utility Bills is provided on the 1st Friday of each month from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM ONLY.
Utility Bills Assistance
We get it. Sometimes you need help, and Elgin Ministerial Alliance can assist you with your electric and water bills. To qualify, you must live in the 78621 zip code. Also, this once-a-year help is available to help you get caught. Help with Utility Bills is provided on the 1st Friday of each month from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM ONLY.

Disaster Assistance
When the unexpected happens, we can feel alone. The Elgin Ministerial Alliance is here to stand with you and your time of difficulty. While we can't help replace what you lost, we can help support you during your time of need. We offer Biblical and practical guidance as well as some financial support. To qualify, you must live in the 78621 zip code. Please call Pastor Steven Ward at 512-537-9332.
Food/Fuel Assistance
Many of us have been there, choosing between gas in our tank and food on our table. Elgin Minister Alliance can help. Please come by Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church on the 1st Friday between 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and our staff will assist you. You can also request weekly help every Friday between 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM in the Elgin Cares Drive-through meal program. Please note: if you come between 5:00 PM and 6:45, please get in line and stay in your car to request assistance; an Elgin Ministerial Alliance staff member will assist you.
